My Background

Buffalo, New York. 

I lived just blocks from the University of Buffalo library where my mother worked. So my childhood was spent wandering the stacks after school.

My three degrees in Entomology (BS, MS, PhD) led to a teaching career in environmental science. I then transformed into a college administrator.
